Marion Outdoor Pool Water Slide Works

The Marion Outdoor Pool Water Slide Works was delivered within a highly constrained programme, with all works required to be completed in time for the facility to reopen for the summer swimming season. The project focused on the delivery of critical aquatic infrastructure upgrades to ensure the ongoing operation, safety, and reliability of the Water Slides. As the Main Contractor, APS was responsible for the planning, coordination, installation, and commissioning of all specialist hydraulic and water treatment components. The project scope included:

• Construction of a new Water Treatment Plant Room, Slide Pump Room and associated services.
• Installation of a new Balance Tank.
• Complete upgrade of Water Slide Hydraulics and Water Treatment systems.

Given the seasonal nature of the facility, maintaining a short and efficient construction programme was a critical project requirement. APS implemented detailed programming, early procurement, and close coordination with stakeholders and subcontractors to minimise downtime and interface risks. As a result of this focused approach, APS successfully delivered the project on time, enabling the Marion Outdoor Pool Facility to reopen as scheduled for the swimming season.
