Applecross Senior High School

Aquatic Project Solutions was engaged as a subcontractor by Aquatic Developments Australia, working under principal contractor Programmed Facility Management, to deliver key refurbishment works for the eight-lane pool at Applecross Senior High School. Our scope included the removal of the existing painted finish and floor screed, preparing the surface for a new, durable quartz finish. We modified the raised hob to extend the concourse along the existing pool beam, and installed eight tiled pool lanes, target touch markers, and new depth and lane markers to ensure the pool meets competitive standards. Additionally, we rejuvenated the dive board with a sandblasted, slip-resistant coating and installed eight FINA-approved starting blocks to support competitive swimming programs. Our team also completed new plumbing works, constructed a new plant room, and applied all final finishes to deliver a fully functional and modern facility. Through close collaboration with the client and contractors, we successfully completed the project on time and within budget, enhancing the school’s aquatic infrastructure.
